I grew up in Rome, NY before attending the State University of New York at Oswego where I earned a dual BA in Theatre and English. After college, I headed to New York City where I lived with my (then) octogenarian Grandfather in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan, in the same apartment my Dad grew up in. Side note, if 2025 Erin could talk to 2005 Erin, she would say “cherish this time.”

For over a decade, I worked as a professional actor, director, and teaching artist in New York, Connecticut, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, including several regional and national tours. It was on two of those national tours – adaptations of “The Diary of Anne Frank” (pictured top left below) and “The Middleclass Gentleman” (pictured top middle) – where I met the love of my life, Dave. Thankfully he agreed, and we embarked on the tour that never ends (see top right).

These days, we call Walpole, MA home and are joyously busy with our best roles to date – Mom and Dad (see bottom pic). In between, we’ve added to our special skills. Dave went back to school for nursing, and I earned my Master’s in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a focus on higher education.
As we come out of the trenches of early parenthood, we’re enjoying weaving the arts into our new normal.

Oh and yes, in case you’re curious – both kids are total hams. What can I say? Apples and trees. This website should really be dedicated to them. Cast them (or me, or all of us!) and I promise, we’ll bring all the good snacks and ice packs. Trust me, both always come in handy.
